Dawud on Taqwa: Faith is richness in your heart without wealth

Muhammad ibn Yahya reported: Dawud al-Ta’i, may Allah have mercy on him, said, “A servant does not leave the disgrace of disobedience to the honor of righteousness except that he will be enriched without wealth, he will be strengthened without a tribe, and he will be entertained without company.”
