Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah Almighty says: O My servant, as long as you worship Me and place your hopes in Me, I will forgive you despite what you have done. O My servant, if you meet Me with enough sins to fill the earth, I will meet you with as much forgiveness as long as You do not associate anything with Me.”

عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَقُولُ يَا عَبْدِي مَا عَبَدْتَنِي وَرَجَوْتَنِي فَإِنِّي غَافِرٌ لَكَ عَلَى مَا كَانَ فِيكَ وَيَا عَبْدِي إِنْ لَقِيتَنِي بِقُرَابِ الْأَرْضِ خَطِيئَةً مَا لَمْ تُشْرِكْ بِي لَقِيتُكَ بِقُرَابِهَا مَغْفِرَةً
