Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, among the signs of the Hour is that a man would pass through the mosque without even praying two cycles, that a man would only greet with peace those whom he knows, and that children will expect the elders to serve them.”

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ مِنْ أَشْرَاطِ السَّاعَةِ أَنْ يَمُرَّ الرَّجُلُ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ لَا يُصَلِّي فِيهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَأَنْ لَا يُسَلِّمَ الرَّجُلُ إِلَّا عَلَى مَنْ يَعْرِفُ وَأَنْ يُبَرِّدَ الصَّبِيُّ الشَّيْخَ
