Hadith on Retribution: Good deeds destroyed by wronging others

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The record of a man will be presented to him on the Day of Resurrection until he thinks he has been saved, but the ones he wronged among the children of Adam will continue to pursue him until none of his good deeds remain and their sins will be piled upon him.

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهَ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ تُرْفَعُ للِرَّجُلِ صَحِيْفَتُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَة حَتَّى يَرَى أَنَّهُ نَاجٍ فَمَا تَزَالُ مَظَالِمُ بَنِي آدَمَ تَتْبَعُهُ حَتَّى مَا تُبْقِي لَهُ حَسَنَةٌ وَيُزَادُ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ سَيِّئاتِهِمْ
