Hadith on Shahadah: Forgiveness for testifying faith with certainty

Mu’adh ibn Jabal reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No soul upon the earth dies while not associating partners with Allah and testifying that I am the Messenger of Allah, repeating it in his heart with conviction, but that he will be forgiven.

عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ نَفْسٌ تَمُوتُ لَا تُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا وَتَشْهَدُ أَنِّي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ يَرْجِعُ ذَلِكَ إِلَى قَلْبٍ مُوقِنٍ إِلَّا غُفِرَ لَهَا
