Hadith on Waswas: Rejection of evil thoughts a sign of sincere faith

Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: We asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, about a man who finds thoughts within himself such that it would be more beloved for him to fall from the sky and be plucked by the birds than to speak openly of them. The Prophet said, “That is pure faith.”
