Hadith on Trials: Praise Allah even if you become blind

Al-‘Irbad ibn Sariyah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah Almighty said: When I deprive My servant of his two noble eyes, although he was reluctant to lose them, I am not satisfied with any reward for him but Paradise if he praises Me for them.”

عَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَالَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِذَا سَلَبْتُ مِنْ عَبْدِي كَرِيمَتَيْهِ وَهُوَ بِهِمَا ضَنِينٌ لَمْ أَرْضَ لَهُ ثَوَابًا دُونَ الْجَنَّةِ إِذَا هُوَ حَمِدَنِي عَلَيْهِمَا
