Hadith on Funerals: Paradise for patience with lost loved ones

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, Allah is not satisfied for His believing servant to be rewarded with anything but Paradise if his loved ones on earth pass away, he remains patient, hopes for reward, and says what he has been commanded.”

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَرْضَى لِعَبْدِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِذَا ذَهَبَ بِصَفِيِّهِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ فَصَبَرَ وَاحْتَسَبَ وَقَالَ مَا أُمِرَ بِهِ بِثَوَابٍ دُونَ الْجَنَّةِ
