Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah Almighty said: I am as My servant expects of Me, and I am with him as He remembers Me. By Allah, Allah is more joyful by the repentance of His servant than if one of you found his lost camel in the desert. Whoever comes near to Me by a handspan, I come near to him by an arm’s length. Whoever comes near to Me by an arm’s length, I come near to him by the length of a fathom. If he turns walking to Me, I turn running to Him.”

عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَنَا عِنْدَ ظَنِّ عَبْدِي بِي وَأَنَا مَعَهُ حَيْثُ يَذْكُرُنِي وَاللهِ لَلَّهُ أَفْرَحُ بِتَوْبَةِ عَبْدِهِ مِنْ أَحَدِكُمْ يَجِدُ ضَالَّتَهُ بِالْفَلَاةِ وَمَنْ تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيَّ شِبْرًا تَقَرَّبْتُ إِلَيْهِ ذِرَاعًا وَمَنْ تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيَّ ذِرَاعًا تَقَرَّبْتُ إِلَيْهِ بَاعًا وَإِذَا أَقْبَلَ إِلَيَّ يَمْشِي أَقْبَلْتُ إِلَيْهِ أُهَرْوِلُ
