‘Abdur Rahman reported: Abdullah ibn Mas’ud, may Allah be pleased with him, said, “No man says three times, ‘I seek forgiveness from Allah, besides whom there is no God, the Living, the Sustainer, and I repent to Him,’ except that he will be forgiven, even if he fled from battle.”
