Abdullah ibn Umar reported: A man asked the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, saying, “O Messenger of Allah, upon what shall we act? Are things already gone and past, or are they happening now?” The Prophet said, “Verily, the people of Paradise are facilitated for the deeds of Paradise, and the people of Hellfire are facilitated for the deeds of Hellfire.”

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ فِيمَا نَعْمَلُ أَفِي شَيْءٍ قَدْ خَلَا أَوْ مَضَى أَوْ فِي شَيْءٍ يُسْتَأْنَفُ الْآنَ قَالَ إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ مُيَسَّرُونَ لِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَإِنَّ أَهْلَ النَّارِ مُيَسَّرُونَ لِعَمَلِ أَهْلِ النَّارِ
