Aisha reported: By the One who took the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he never left praying two missed cycles after the afternoon prayer until he met Allah Almighty, even when prayer became difficult for him. He used to perform many of his prayers while sitting down. The Prophet would perform them at home and not in the mosque, fearing it would be heavy upon his nation as he loved for matters to be lightened for them.
