Abu Dharr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah Almighty said: O Jesus, I will raise a nation after you who will praise Me and be grateful to Me when I bestow what they love, and they will expect reward and be patient when I afflict them with what they hate, although they had no forbearance or knowledge. Jesus said: O Lord, how can this be if they had no forbearance or knowledge? Allah said: I will give them from My forbearance and My knowledge.”

عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى قَالَ يَا عِيسَى إِنِّي بَاعِثٌ مِنْ بَعْدِكَ أُمَّةً إِنْ أَصَابَهُمْ مَا يُحِبُّونَ حَمِدُوا وَشَكَرُوا وَإِنْ أَصَابَهُمْ مَا يَكْرَهُونَ احْتَسَبُوا وَصَبَرُوا وَلَا حِلْمَ وَلَا عِلْمَ قَالَ يَا رَبِّ كَيْفَ هَذَا وَلَا حِلْمَ وَلَا عِلْمَ قَالَ أُعْطِيهِمْ مِنْ حِلْمِي وَعِلْمِي
