Hadith on Tawhid: Insincere testimony of faith rejected

Anas ibn Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The declaration of ‘there is no God but Allah’ protects the servants from the displeasure of Allah as long as they do not prefer the promise of their worldly life over their religion, for if they prefer the promise of their worldly life over their religion and then say, ‘There is no God but Allah,’ it will be rejected from them, and Allah Almighty will say, ‘You have lied!’
