Jabir ibn Abdullah reported: I saw the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, during Hajj on the day of Arafat while he was riding his camel, Qaswa. I heard the Prophet address them, “O people! Verily, I have left with you what will never lead you astray as long as you hold onto them: the Book of Allah, my family, and the people of my household.”

عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَجَّتِهِ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ، وَهُوَ عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ الْقَصْوَاءِ يَخْطُبُ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ إِنِّي تَرَكْتُ فِيكُمْ مَا إِنْ أَخَذْتُمْ بِهِ لَنْ تَضِلُّوا كِتَابَ اللهِ وَعِتْرَتِي أَهْلَ بَيْتِي
