Hadith on Eyesight: Reward for believers when blinded

Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Allah Almighty says: Whoever has his two dear eyes taken away by Me and he patiently awaits his compensation, I am not pleased to reward him with anything except Paradise.

Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Tirmidhi

عَنْ ‌أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مَنْ أَذْهَبْتُ حَبِيبَتَيْهِ فَصَبَرَ وَاحْتَسَبَ لَمْ أَرْضَ لَهُ ثَوَابًا دُونَ الْجَنَّةِ
