Abu Burdah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The stars are safety for the sky, so when the stars are taken away, what is promised will come to the sky. I am safety for my companions, so when I am taken away, what is promised will come to my companions. My companions are safety for my nation, so when my companions are taken away, what is promised will come to my nation.”

عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النُّجُومُ أَمَنَةٌ لِلسَّمَاءِ فَإِذَا ذَهَبَتِ النُّجُومُ أَتَى السَّمَاءَ مَا تُوعَدُ وَأَنَا أَمَنَةٌ لِأَصْحَابِي فَإِذَا ذَهَبْتُ أَتَى أَصْحَابِي مَا يُوعَدُونَ وَأَصْحَابِي أَمَنَةٌ لِأُمَّتِي فَإِذَا ذَهَبَ أَصْحَابِي أَتَى أُمَّتِي مَا يُوعَدُونَ
