Abu Ishaq reported: Al-Harith al-Hamdani, may Allah have mercy on him, said, “Fasting the month of patience, Ramadan, and fasting three days each month removes disorders within the chest.” Mujahid said, “It removes agitation within the chest.” It was said, “What is agitation in the chest?” Mujahid said, “His malevolence.”
