Sa\u2019d referred his case to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said, \u201cStrike him with the whip one hundred times.\u201d They said, \u201cO Prophet of Allah, he is too weak for that. If you strike him one hundred times, he might die.\u201d The Prophet said, \u201c<b>Then take a branch with one hundred twigs and strike him once.<\/b>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Source: Sunan Ibn Ma\u0304jah
