The best of people are those who are most beneficial to people.<\/b>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Source: al-Mu\u2019jam al-Awsat\u0323 lil-T\u0323abara\u0304ni\u0304 5937<\/p>\n<p>Grade: <i>Hasan<\/i> (fair) according to Al-Albani<\/p>\n<p>Imam al-Mawardi commented, \u201cHuman flourishing is only achieved through bonds of fellowship and social affection. A person is vulnerable to injury and envied for every blessing he possesses. If he is neither sociable nor loved by others, he becomes exposed to the grasp of the envious and the domination of enemies. His blessings will not remain secure, nor will the sweetness of life remain untroubled. Yet when a person cultivates affection and companionship, he finds strength in others against his enemies and protection through them from those who envy him. Thus, his blessings are preserved and love among people becomes purified, even in difficult times.
