Indeed, it is best to be good to one who wronged you. As for one who wronged others, by which he disobeyed Allah, then you should not be good to him because being good to the wrongdoer may be evil to the wronged, and the rights of the wronged take precedence. Strengthening their hearts by confronting the wrongdoer is more beloved to Allah than strengthening the heart of the wrongdoer.
