Ahmad said, \u201cDo not divorce her.\u201d He said, \u201cDid not Umar command his son Abdullah to divorce his wife?\u201d Ahmad said, \u201cIs your father like Umar, may Allah be pleased with him?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Imam Ibn Muflih commented, \u201cIf his father commands him to divorce his wife, it is not an obligation to do so as mentioned by most of our scholars.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Source:
