They were \u2018Ikramah ibn Abi Jahl, Abdullah ibn Khatal, Maqis ibn Subabah, and Abdullah ibn Sa\u2019d. As for \u2018Ikramah, he fled to the sea and they were hit by a storm. The crew of the ship said, \u201cTurn sincerely to Allah, for your gods can do nothing for you here!\u201d \u2018Ikramah said, \u201cBy Allah, if nothing can save me on the sea but sincerity to Allah, nothing can save me on land but Him! O Allah, I promise You that if You deliver me from my situation, I will go to Muhammad and put my hand in his hand and I will surely find him forgiving and generous!\u201d Then, \u2018Ikramah came and
