The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, ordered a man to bring a rock but he was unable to carry it. The Prophet went to it and rolled up his sleeves, then he carried it and placed it at the head of the grave. The Prophet said, \u201c<strong>I am making the grave of my brother known and I will bury my family members who die next to him.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Source: Sunan Abi\u0304 Da\u0304wu\u0304d 3206<\/p>\n<p>Grade: <em>Hasan<\/em> (fair) according to Al-Arna\u2019ut<\/p>\n<p>Ibn Qudaham said, \u201cThere is nothing wrong with marking a grave with a stone or piece of wood.
