Then he would go forward to an open area, stand facing the qiblah for a long time, supplicating and raising his hands. Then he would stone the middle pillar in the same way, then move to the left, go to an open area, stand facing the qiblah for a long time, supplicating and raising his hands. Then he would stone the pillar of al-&#8216;Aqabah from within the valley, and he would not stop there.
