Hadith on Wudu: Rinsing the nose and mouth in ablution

Abu Ghatafan reported: I entered the home of Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, and I found him performing ablution. Then, I saw him rinsing his nose and mouth, and he said, “The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would do so two or three times.”

عَنْ أَبِي غَطَفَانَ قَالَ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رضي الله عنه فَوَجَدْتُهُ يَتَوَضَّأُ فَمَضْمَضَ ثُمَّ اسْتَنْشَقَ ثُمَّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اثْنَتَيْنِ اثْنَتَيْنِ أَوْ ثِنْتَيْنِ بَالِغَتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا
