Abu Sa’id al-Khudri reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Shall I not tell you of that by which Allah expiates your sins and increases your good deeds?” They said, “Of course, O Messenger of Allah.” The Prophet said, “Performing ablution thoroughly despite hardship, taking many steps to the mosque, and waiting for one prayer after another.”

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ أَلَا أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَى مَا يُكَفِّرُ اللَّهُ بِهِ الْخَطَايَا وَيَزِيدُ بِهِ فِي الْحَسَنَاتِ قَالُوا بَلَى يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ إِسْبَاغُ الْوُضُوءِ عَلَى الْمَكَارِهِ وَكَثْرَةُ الْخُطَا إِلَى الْمَسَاجِدِ وَانْتِظَارُ الصَّلَاةِ بَعْدَ الصَّلَاةِ
