Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, when he said, “Allah listened to those who praise Him,” in the last cycle of evening prayer, he stood to supplicate, “O Allah, save ‘Ayyash ibn Abi Rabiah. O Allah, save Al-Walid ibn al-Walid. O Allah, save Salamah ibn Hisham. O Allah, save the oppressed among the believers. O Allah, be hard on the tribe of Mudar. O Allah, place drought in their years like the years of Joseph.”

Grade: Muttafaqun Alayhi (authenticity agreed upon) according to Al-Bukhari and Muslim
Ibn ‘Uthaymin said, “This supplication against them is for hardship, and hardship could be in the best interests of the wrongdoer such that he turns back to Allah from his injustice.”
