Hadith on Dua: Do not help criminals by cursing them

Aisha reported: Something was stolen from her, so she began to supplicate against the thief. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Do not lighten his sin.

Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Albani

Al-Hasan al-Basri said, “Do not supplicate against him, but rather say: O Allah, help me and return what he owes me!”
